My mom has been “saving” wine corks since the mid-90s. She puts them in a basket on her countertop, and says,she’ll make a wreath out them. “For Christmas?” I’ll ask. “No, for every day. Someday.”
My mom will not be making a wreath out of wine corks.
But since she’s got a whole heap of them, I’m thinking we need to create one of these upcycled wine cork bulletin boards.
Construction seems pretty easy: Cut corks in half with that big red tool in this picture (what is that thing?!), and use wood glue to attach them to an old door or a simple piece of plywood:
