Everybody knows that first impressions are everything, and that’s true for our homes too. If the front home exterior doesn’t look great, people will assume the inside doesn’t either.

Here’s an epic roundup of gorgeous exteriors organized by style to inspire you to improve your home’s curb appeal.

Craftsman Style

Craftsman style homes captivate with their distinctive architectural elements and commitment to fine craftsmanship.

These homes have a unique aesthetic usually with a wide front porch supported by thick, tapered columns and roofs that present a low pitch with visible eave brackets.

The integration of natural materials like wood and stone alongside the hand-crafted built-ins and intricate woodwork emphasizes a connection to nature and partisanship.

This architectural style’s emphasis on organic colors and textures complements its surroundings, making a Craftsman home a picturesque addition to any street.

Its bespoke charm and detailed design significantly increase the curb appeal of these homes, inviting admiration and a sense of welcoming warmth.

  1. Thank you for explaining the various home architectural styles and for educating me. Your photographs helped me to understand why most habitat architecture leaves me completely cold. The only style you described that truly appealed to my taste was French Country Architecture. I would like to see more of this style, and interior photographs as well.
