The ReadyMade contest is officially closed. Eight qualified judges will review the entries and come up with a winner. Perhaps I’m not qualified to choose my top ten favorites since I did enter one of my own designs, but I can’t help but be impressed with the creativity of all you DIYers and resourceful Makers out there. We should start a club (notice how I included myself in that group). Here are my top 10 favs…I need to show you my entry before you get jaded.
A new take on my upholstered spool ottoman design:
The bench made from old fenceposts.
Look at this, a bench made from old scaffolding.
A bright reuse of an old fan.
A pendant light made out of clothespins.
Old Coke crate nightstand.
Big table made from old wood.
Reusing old legs and a slab of wood to make a small table/stool.
And, a flying saucer mobile made out of old CD’s and ping pong balls.
There are so many entries you need to see for yourself. Check them all out right here.
Can you please share instructions on how you make the flying saucers from ping pongs and Cd’s?
