Warm and inviting, these carol candle holders are perfect for moms and mom-equivalents this holiday season. The best part? They take minutes to make.

Here’s all you need to make the three candle holders pictured above:

    • a cutting mat
    • metal ruler
    • exacto knife
    • sticky back tape
    • white or ivory vellum
    • three votive holders, 2 1/2″ high and 7″ in diameter
    • three tea lights (and, no, the tea lights don’t melt the velum)
    • this PDF available on my Scribd page

    Step 1:

Print out the PDF onto the vellum. If using an inkjet printer, WAIT UNTIL THE INK IS COMPLETELY DRY. If you’re using a laser printer, you’re good to go to step 2.

    Step 2:

Using the exacto, mat and metal ruler, cut about 1/4″ above and below the text.

Cut 1/4″ off the LEFT margin and 1″ off the RIGHT margin.

    Step 3:

Apply sticky-back tape to one edge of the vellum, fit over votives and secure.

And that, as they say, is it.
