Here’s a quick and easy tutorial showing you how to convert the plain bag into a jazzed up, monogrammed DIY tool bag. A great semi-handmade gift idea for a handy pal or a new homeowner, just add a few tools to get them started. To monogram your bag, you’ll need:
- monogram stencils
- fabric paint
- stenciling sponge
- ruler
- pencil
- hairdryer
- tiny paintbrush for touchups
- glam pin (optional)
1. Measure and center the middle initial
2. Tape or hold down the stencil while you dab paint on
3. Use hairdryer to dry the first initial.
4. Making sure paint is dry, measure and stencil second initial.
5. With small brush, touch up edges of lettering to make them sharp.
6. Measure and stencil the third initial, touch up, if necessary. Add a glam pin for your flair!
7. Load up your tools.
