Hands up if you’ve gone to buy a greeting card from a newsagent, only to be completely underwhelmed by the envelope? Okay, I get that it could totally just be me who worries about such things, but as a self-confessed stationery addict I feel like fun, colourful cards should have envelopes to match – after all, it’s the first thing that your recipient will see!
And with Mother’s Day approaching, there’s no better time to start dressing up your envelopes with pretty patterns so you can send one out to your lovely mom. See below for the file and super easy instructions!
Materials
- White letter-sized label paper
- Scissors
- Printable envelope address label file
- Envelopes (these labels should fit most standard greeting card envelope sizes)
Step
Print out the envelope label file onto a white letter-sized label sheet. Then cut out each of the labels with a pair of scissors.
Step
Peel the backing off each label and stick it to your envelope, wrapping it around the side so that the large white rectangle is on the front and the small white rectangle is on the back.
And that’s pretty much all there is to it! Simply fill in the address of your lucky recipient on the front and add your return address on the back before popping your greeting card in the post.
thank you! I love these.
