Confession: my desk is covered in post-it notes. And I mean covered. There’s something about writing everything down that helps me remember to actually do it. Instead of letting the madness continue, I decided to make a simple wooden memo board to clear the clutter!
Time: 20 minutes
What you’ll need:
- Wooden Panel (got mine at Michaels)
- Cord or string
- Hot Glue Gun
- Paint & Brush (optional)
Start by painting your design on the wooden panel. Let dry. This step is completely optional, but I think it makes the final piece really pop.
Glue your cord down on one side of the panel, stretch as tightly across the front, and then glue again on the other side. I recommend applying the hot glue generously so that the pull of the cord doesn’t loosen over time.
Set on your desk (or even hang on the wall) and use to hold all your notes and important reminders!
