By the time we’re done with our holiday shopping, it’s understandable that we’re tempted to slap some wrapping paper around the presents, stick on a bow and tag and call it done, but, really, the wrapping part is a great time to let our creative side run amok. To help us think outside of the box (pun intended), here are some darling and easy gift-wrapping ideas that’ll make our gifts stand out from the crowd.

A bit of twine, ribbon, yarn, seasonal sprigs and the morning paper and w’ere all set. (Hooray for recycling.)
Decorative string and sealing wax. (Never would have thought of this in a million years.) To go the extra mile, how about making our own wax seals?

I like finding new ways to make my stamps and paper-shaping machine do double duty. If you’re the same, then you’ll love this idea using a brown paper bag and jute bow.
