There’s still snow on the ground where I live, so I’m doing all I can to bring a breath of spring indoors. These easy spring centerpieces do just that. They’re pretty enough for parties and simple enough to make any day special.
These first ideas pair flowers with fruit. Doing so is more economical as they make the flowers go a long way, and, of course, the fruit is edible.
All we need is a big terracotta saucer for this one.
Surprising and super cute, these oranges as vases are it.
If you have a hurricane on hand, this one is even simpler, and there’s no flower ‘waste’ afterward.

Creative re-use dominates our discussion next. Ordinary terracotta pots are give a coat of white paint and ordained with real grass in this easy project.
So pretty and delicate, this project uses multiple, identical vases, but glass juice or tea bottles would work too! (Who doesn’t love ‘shopping’ in their recycling bin?)

Not sure if you’d want to actually use USED take out containers for this one–or maybe you would. Anyway, take out containers, like the ones pictured below can be found at craft stores or the dollar stores for a buck or so.
