This tiny space started out as a closed balcony then morphed into a bedroom then morphed again into a stunning, light-filled dining room! Don’t believe me? Check out the ‘after’ below!
Sibylle Roessler from the blog Funky Time sent over a link to her dining room makeover and let’s just say I was blown away! The space started out as a closed balcony, which means it had windows on the inside that led to the living room – an awkward feature for a bedroom (which is what the previous tenants had used the space for). With a desire to eke out as much storage as possible, Sibylle turned these windows into open shelving instead! A brilliant solution that proved to be as beautiful as it was practical.
This dining room makeover is full of similarly clever design choices and solutions (and even sports a cute DIY mason jar chandelier that Sibylle made herself), so be sure to check out the full story – and more pics – over on Funky Time!
