In today’s CraftyLand, bunting is big. But no one ever said the bunting itself had to be large- take, for instance, this mini bunting strung around a paper lantern. Tiny scraps of fabric cut into even smaller triangles, and then sewn into bias tape (either purchased pre-made or made yourself) is a easy way to spruce up a plain white paper globe lantern, like Kristy of You Had Me At Bonjour did. Her bright, fun fabrics make her transformation cheerful and fit the bunting bill.
While Kristy has great skills with a sewing machine, this project can be done without one at all. Just call on your trusty friend the Hot Glue Gun and spend some quality time together.
