Dandelion Syrup. Has Anyone Ever Tried It?
By ChrisjobThis recipe from 5OrangePotatoes calls for 250 dandelion tops and 12 hours of simmering and reducing. That's quite a collection of resources and time. But more interesting, what does it taste like? Like dandelion greens (which I adore)? Like other edible flower-based foods? A floral hint to an otherwise simple syrup?
Anyone have any thoughts before I spend twelve hours collecting dandelion tops and another twelve cooking them down?

Felt Dandelion Tutorial.
By ChrisjobAccording to Puxatony Phil, and that other one, we still have quite a few weeks until everyone's favorite and tastiest weed pops up in parks and front yards. So, until then, you can make a way more adorable, but less edible, version with this fine tutorial from Echoes of A Dream.
Dandelion Light Sculpture
By DIY Maven
Lonneke Gordijn's 'Fragile Future' is subtitled 'electronics and dandelions', which is the perfect description for this marriage of technology and nature. Made of a collection of LED's, phosphorous bronze and dandelion seeds, the light sculpture has a fanciful steampunk-y quality about it. If it wasn't fabulous enough, the piece automatically shuts off--sort of like a defense mechanism--when people come too close to it. Via.
