I am the wife of a wonderful man, Derek, and we have two beautiful boys, Mason who is 6 and Chevas who is 2.  We moved into my husband's grandfather's house 2 years ago and have had our hands full.  We though it would be cool to keep the property in the family and my husband has all these great memories of growing up here, but we never imagined how much work the house would need.  We have a mix of styles, I like rustic country and Derk likes more mordern things.  We have compromised well only because we usually have to go with what is the cheapest!  (I usually win!)  Honestly, I would love to bull doze the house down, but for now we just take on one project at a time.
