Hi! i guess this method of folding and cutting paper is pretty common all over the world then! :) but i kinda totally forgot about it growing up.... until i saw one done the other day and thought hey it might fit my coffee table nicely!
The roses in the background are fake.. tired of changing fresh flowers everday hehe.

Affinity this is similar to how we made six sided snow flakes when I was a child. The folding is a bit different of course since you're have eight sides. Very pretty outcome though.
