painting trim?

By megrockstar

I was told to keep trim white and it brings a theme through the condo since the walls will be different colors, is this thebest idea?

What about a nice walk in closet...something relatively easy but good for huge amounts of thothes, it is a semi large room (10x9?)

Im going to put a make up vanity in there too.

I'd keep the trim consistant.  There are plenty of different shades of white, right?  Off-white, antique white, etc.  Different shades compliment different colors and set different moods.  Sorry so vague, I'm figuring this out for myself.

As for the closet, though, I like painting the closet a shade lighter on the paintstrip than the room it's off of.  Looks nifty, imho.  But if it's for making-up, chose a color that's either real to the outdoors or complimentary to your skin tone. =)
