Hey man, do you party?

I'm thinking of creating a design event in Southern California at my bricks and mortar business. Its in an 11,000 square foot office/warehouse space in Long Beach, (a good central location).  The warehouse  has a loft that would be great for a band, also the  ceiling is 29 feet high so some sort of visual display would work nicely.  There is a ton of empty office space that perhaps a few choice designers could make into interactive roomscapes and/or display art and design pieces. I want it to have lots of eyecandy!

Our business is BUilders GreenSource. We are a wholesale distributor of green building material.  I would want the event to have a green overtone (without being a hippy kind of thing) to it showcasing artists and designers that use echo friendly material in there cutting edge designs. I also want this to feel like a party, where design junkies can unite, and not have it feel like a stuffy trade show. 

Is anybody interested in such an event? Is anybody interested in helping me on any level?
