How to customize a lampshade with a Sharpie

By DIY Maven

  1. Scrounge up a plain old white lampshade*.
  2. Print a pretty silhoutte to use as a template.
  3. Tape the template to the inside of the lampshade.
  4. Sit in front of a window, using it as a backlight.
  5. Use a fine-point Sharpie to outline the template.

  6. Color in the design with a chunkier Sharpie.
  7. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind lampshade.

*I'm guessing the lampshade was a paper one. Via.
