Interior Color Trends for 2008

By DIY Maven

Debbie Zimmer from the Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute does a little prognosticating on color trends for 2008. She suggests green might become the latest ‘neutral’ color for interiors. Coming on strong is also black and white accented with crystals, mirrors, metallics and even shots of subtle color such as soft pink or taupe. Another popular tend is something called ‘crewel colors’, which reflects peoples’ returning interest in homey things, like crafts and cooking. Crewel colors consist of deep cranberry red, warm browns and pumpkin-y orange. You can read Debbie’s entire article at rentaldecorating.com.
