Canoe Paddle Hat/Coat Rack
By ZolaClaireI bought some red canoe paddles for our son's room about 3 years ago. We were trying to go with an outdoorsy theme and thought that they might look cool on the wall or mounted on the side of his bunkbed. Unfortunately I couldn't commit to hanging them anywhere so they they sat hidden behind his bed for over a year. We moved houses a year later and the paddles sat in his new closet for yet another year. While cleaning his room one day I rediscovered the paddles and this time I knew exactly what to do with them. After we attached some hooks and knobs, we mounted them to the wall and now our son hangs his hats, a jacket, an accoridian etc... from them.
