I'm an interior designer working in Minneapolis. I prefer clean, simple design that makes a bold statement. High contrast in finshes and fabrics is what I think makes a room come alive, like a leather sofa with super nubby throw pillows. Or wood floors in the kitchen with concrete counter tops. I'm also a ceramic artist. You can see my work at the Fired Up Studio Gallery in North East Minneapolis. I prefer working in porcelain, and enjoy making functional art. A Rookie Mistake

I originally posted this on my blog House&Hound but I thought the info. might be useful for some of you Curbly dog owners!


Daniel and I went out to dinner on Friday night to celebrate our last weekend together in Minneapolis. There's a pretty good Italian restaurant on Lake Street called Amore Victoria, and we were lucky enough to score a beautiful table outside, on a more than beautiful evening.

Five minutes into our meal a random puppy dog runs up to our table and starts licking up the parmesan cheese crumbs. Turns out the poor little guy is lost, and we grab him just before he runs back out into the traffic on Lake.

Thanks Debra. This site should end up being a great place to share ideas and get inspired. I put the puppy pic. up for two reasons: one, I am a huge sucker for schnauzers, and two, i couldn't find a current pic. of myself.
