Totally DIYable Chalkboard Clock!!!

By DIY Maven

Check out this $78 chalkboard clock available at Urban Materials. How easy would this be to replicate? Seriously?! Pop a cheap old clock out of its frame–if it has one–paint it over with chalkboard paint and give its hands a coat of white and you’re done. Okay, so this expensive version also has a magnetic face, but still...a chalkboard clock....how cool is that??!!

P.S. Another alternative = A square of plywood or MDF + some clock works from the craft store.

Or add a magnetic paint additive like this one. Only drawback is it's kind of expensive.

I wonder if you could paint chalkboard paint over magnetic paint?  Just a thought.
