Thanks for the temp tip! (I'm not a drinker--wine or otherwise--so I'm clueless about such things.)

Sure they look nice and are great for many purposes. Drinking wine just isn't really one of them. People will cup these, their nice warm hands warming up the wine inside. Even red wine should be a few degrees below room temperature and warming up a nice wine is just a shame. A cognac would be kind of nice in these though....
I just realized I come across as quite the snob here, my apologies! Let's finish with something nice: The pictures and ideas look great!
