The Most Versatile Soap in the World

By DIY Maven

After spotting Home Soap Household Cleaner at the co-op, I decided to give it a try. After all, it’s purported to be the most versatile soap ever made. What does it clean? Just about anything you can think of, but the label suggests trying it on:

the car
the barbeque grill
fruits
vegetables
fabrics
paint brushes
the dishes
counter tops
the stove
floors
walls
and the dog

Made of ‘a blend of purified water, coconut derived surfactants and pure essential oil fragrance,’ Home Soap is environmentally safe and biodegradable. Its scent is very light, so it’s great for people like me who are sensitive to such things. And, another great thing about this super soap, after you use up all those other one-trick ponies, you’ll have only ONE bottle taking up space in the cupboard. You should be able to find Home Soap at your local co-op; if not, it’s available on-line at places like this where a 16 oz bottle will set you back about 5 bucks. If that sounds like a lot for 16 oz, remember, it’s SUPER concentrated.

Another similar product is Dr. Bronners.  The inventor is nuts and put religious babble all over the bottles, but it is certified organic and vegan, and is likewise concentrated.  I think it is more like $10 a bottle though.
